Sandra Day O'Connor, from Left Field... Again!
So... Justice Sandra Day O'Connor announced her resignation today from the Supreme Court of the United States.
What a suprise that was this morning! I know, I know, she's what.. 75? Served on the Court for 24 years? But still! Rehnquist is the ailing one, and he was the most... "Conservative?" My impression is that Justice Scalia is most "Conservative," but maybe that's just my take on their personalities.
Isn't that just great. I wonder how many Justices Bush will have the opportunity to nominate to the Court during his time?
