Counting in Chinese

My primary language is English, naturlich. I suppose it's obvious, huh? I guess Chinese would say "tens-of-thousands" instead of "millions" in this context? Or "hundreds-of-millions?" I really don't know... I can't count in Chinese. Funny how that works. The big numbers get all funky and my brain just stalls. And I even learned abacus for... 2, 3 years (?) when I was young, from a Chinese teacher too, naturlich. Those who learned Math in Chinese tell me they have to calculate the number in Chinese, then translate that into the English equivalent. Better than I.

At least I can order Chinese food, buy Chinese groceries and know how too make Chinese dishes. Far more important than counting in Chinese, I must say.
